Soft Washing Only
We clean roofs by soft washing only. Your roof is cleaned specifically to manufacturer’s standards and recommendations. Over time your roof will develop a bacteria from the elements that is called gleocapsa magma. This harmful bacteria reveals itself as black streaks and stains on your roof. This harmful bacteria needs to be safely eliminated for a few reasons. The first being, your singles are no longer able to reflect sun, leading to higher energy bills. The second, and more important reason, is that it will deteriorate your shingles and will minimize the longevity of your roof. This is especially true in asphalt shingles as overtime gleocapsa magma feeds off the limestone in these shingles, causing the bacteria to spread and your shingles to deteriorate. Fortunately Texan Exterior Cleaning has a process that safely and effectively eliminates this bacteria. First, a mildicide is applied to your roof that helps eliminate the bacteria and any other organic growth. After a 20-40 minute dwell time, we come back and rinse with water using no more pressure than you would get with your garden hose. When we leave your roof will look brand new!
